There are plenty of ways to learn and enjoy yourself at Harborough Museum. Find out about school visits, local studies resources and activities to try at home.
School visits
Our educational packages and workshops have been carefully planned to support classroom learning and cover a wide range of National Curriculum objectives. Our sessions are hands-on, engaging, and fun and bring learning to life with real artefacts. Each session can be tailored to support a particular area of learning, age group or need.
Local Studies
The Local studies area incorporates books, pamphlets and periodicals relating to the history of Market Harborough and the surrounding area. The area is an ideal place to visit for those interested in researching local or family history.
The Local studies area includes public-access PCs, microfilm and microfiche readers and a photocopying facility.
You can also access the digital library while at the museum and library.
Leicestershire Adult Learning
GoLearn offers a range of courses for adults during the daytime and evening in a suite of learning rooms on the first floor of The Symington Building. Whether your goal this year is to gain an essential qualification, or learn a new skill, we are delighted to support your learning journey.
