Exhibiting at Harborough Museum

Would you like to put on an exhibition at Harborough Museum? Our spaces are free to book and popular, which means you may have to wait to secure a space.

Our Spaces

Special Exhibition Gallery

The Special Exhibition Gallery is our main space for temporary exhibitions. It is used by community and art groups, and the Leicestershire County Council Museums service who create exhibitions using their own collections.

Glass-fronted cases are 120cm wide, 225cm high and 70cm deep.

Community Showcases

There are two Community Showcases near the Local Studies area of the museum and library, which are suitable for smaller exhibitions and displays. Our volunteers, local organisations, schools and other groups use these cases.

Ask about exhibiting

Please complete the form below to ask about using our exhibition spaces. Our Exhibitions Officer will let you know when our spaces are available, and explain the process of proposing an exhibition. All internal and external exhibitions are approved by an Exhibitions Panel, which meets four times a year.
